Denise Ware is a personal chef and private event caterer in the greater Chattanooga area who has been greatly influenced by having been raised in New York and Connecticut as a member of a proud "foodie family." She has worked up and down the East Coast in a variety of food and hospitality industry positions.

Denise Ware is a graduate of The University of Michigan as well as The Culinary Institute of America, with high honors, and interned at the prestigious Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. Denise has been a chef in the local area for nearly 20 years. Her Chattanooga career has included positions as head chef at the renowned Perry's Seafood Restaurant, pastry chef at Southern Star, and chef at The Back Inn Cafe, Virginia's Southside Cafe, Virginia's Gourmet By Design, and Petunia's Silver Jalapeno. She was also a chef at The Cellar and Planet of the Grapes in Dalton.

Denise Ware has also worked in other parts of the country, including Cape Cod, and spending seven years as the chef/owner of The Colonel Williams Inn in Marlboro, Vermont where she catered to such superstar clients as Jessica Lange, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Catherine Graham, and Robert McNamara.

Always active in local events, you may have seen Denise Ware as a competitor in the Gingerbread House Competition at the Festival of Trees or as a chocolatier for the Epilepsy Foundation's Chocolate Fling. She has also worked many other local events such as the Taste of Chattanooga, Chattanooga on the Rocks, The 3 River's Festival, and the Banana Ball to name a few.

Denise particularly enjoys custom order wedding and event cakes and specialty desserts.

Denise can customize your meals to suit your theme, personal preferences, tastes and dietary goals. As a personal chef, she can consult with you and prepare low-fat, low-salt, vegetarian, diabetic, Kosher style, and protein diets.

How does my Personal Chef service operate?

I coordinate delivery dates and times with you. I make all the meals in my kitchen, and deliver them to your residence. All the meals will be stored in your freezer and/or refrigerator with concise labeling and instructions for reheating. You enjoy the convenience of having delicious meals delivered to your home.

Our meals are "Delivery Only" unless otherwise arranged.

I can also provide in-home cooking for special occasions and dinner parties.
